While the lucky winner will receive her copy early, the rest of us must wait for apron·ology#4 ’s February 1st publication date. To ease the pangs of impatience, which I’m feeling mightily, here are a few teasers: love that the script in blue is the same color as the featured apron’s polka dotted fabric. It’s always a pleasure to see a friend spotlighted in this beautiful magazine. apron·ology#4 shines brightly on my friend Judy Foreman and her Julia Child apron and story, as well as my friend Jini Burkholder.
When Jini and I met several years ago at an apron event in Farmington, NM, she showed me her amazing apron collection,
this bitty Singer and the apron she sewed on it when she was nine years old.

The little Singer has a long history in Jini’s family, and one that intrigued Beth Livesay, apron·ology’s sweet editor. Not to spoil the prettiest layout, here’s a peek:
